How To Page
Changing Button Names
The names that
appear on navigation bar buttons are dynamically generated by FrontPage
based upon the names that appear on the page titles & in the Navigation
View flow chart. You can change the names to suit your needs provided
the names are brief enough to fit on the button graphics. The page banner
names are also pulled from the page titles. The top category's menu
is dynamically created by using the global level. To change these simply
place your page on the same level as the index page. You can also elect
not to use this part of the navigation system.
Global Buttons
The 4 buttons across the top, under the head banner are global buttons.
A global button is on the same level as the home or index page whereas
the other buttons on your left are "Child Pages Under Home". To change
these buttons simply add your new page and set it on the same level
as the index page. Be sure to move the pages you are replacing to under
the home page. The area will only hold 4 buttons. To delete and not
use the global buttons simply place your curser over the global area
and hit the delete key. You can always insert a scroller in its place
or a slogan, etc. You can do this on all pages or on some.
Modify Theme
You can modify some of the sites colors and graphics by choosing modify
from within the themes window, You can choose new buttons as well within
this window. To change the main body colors you will need an art
program like PhotoShop. All the psd files are included and you will
find them in a folder in images/psd/.

Deleting Pages
You can delete a page from your navigation bar without deleting it from
your web by clicking on the page to highlight it in the Navigation View,
pressing the "delete" button, and selecting "Remove this page from all
navigation bars." To delete the page entirely, select that option
instead.
Extending the Page Length
When extending the page length it is
normal for the bottom graphic with the page curl & equipment to separate.
Should this happen simply place your curser anywhere in the left navigation
area and hit the enter key as many times as necessary to tighten up
the tables. This happens because the left nav area is a graphic fill
and needs to be extended along with the main body area where you add
your content. You may see lines at the bottom or top of the page. If
the navigation bar slips just click on it and right click and select
"Cell Properties and set the position to "Top".
